Why Work with Me?

I’ve completed studies with a focus on developmental editing for fiction and I'm continuously updating my professional knowledge within the field.

I’m also a passionate writer and have been writing for 12+ years. I know the ins and outs of what makes a compelling narrative.

Having worked with editors from the point of view of an author, I know how daunting it can be to hand over personal and precious writing to be read by others that you may have spent months or even years crafting. To finish a book takes grit and dedication. To enlist and invest in constructive feedback can be even more of a challenge but worth it in the long run.

Whether it's your first book or your latest novel completed, you can rest assured that your words will be treated with the utmost respect and care. Your author voice will be maintained and we'll work together to ensure the vision for your book is met.

Qualifications / Training

What Else?

I hold a Bachelor of Teaching and Learning Degree and I'm a mum to three boys, two of which are twins which keep life busy. When I’m not immersed in words or creating them, you’ll find me at the nearest park, beach, or out walking my black Labrador, listening to music, geeking out on movies, sipping coffee at my fav cafes, or on the hunt for the best crepes.

I live in New Zealand and love escaping into the new and rich worlds that fiction brings.

If you think I may be a good fit for your novel, find out more about my services below.
